Candidates will perform basic operator duties in either a cased or open hole environment including maintenance, job preparation, tool pre-job and post-job checkouts, tool maintenance, rigging up and rigging down at the well sites.


Receiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity
Performing basic duties at the well site and at the shop
Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post- job tool checkout
Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site
Learning to service mechanical devices and building logging cable heads, perforating cable heads and maintenance on the tools
Maintaining well site records and communications as required, as well as completing job-related paperwork
Promoting and maintaining good customer relations
Driving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing company and government regulations
Participating in quality improvement efforts for ballistics operations
Carrying out all required responsibilities according to company policies and procedures
Performing other related duties as required
Ensuring compliance with all Federal, Provincial, local and WLE regulations applicable to WLE explosives operations

High school diploma or equivalent
Clean driver’s license class 3 or class 1 preferred
Good mechanical aptitude
Must have a strong awareness of safety
Physically fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment and able to lift heavy tools and equipment on a repetitive basis
Must be able to work in a team environment and interact well with customers

Basic knowledge of the Wireline Product Line and the Oil & Gas Industry
Basic computer knowledge
Career-minded individuals with a strong work ethic are preferred

Candidates must be willing to work away from home for up to 15 days at a time and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
