– Prepare PPAP documentation
– Prepare, implement and maintain Quality System Requirements
– Customer negotiations
– Capability analysis of process and product
– Develop documentation to support customer and internal requirements
– Analyze new processes for improvements and failure modes
– Negotiate approvals of quality judgment levels with the customer
– Support QC to improve and correct quality concerns for mass production parts
– Develop and train Quality Technicians and Inspectors to function with production as well as with the Quality Department
– Approve gages and tooling from a quality perspective at trials
– Accept and utilize CMM training in practical application (program and run programs)
– Functional participation in scrap and cost reduction teams
– Convey quality concerns to production personnel and provide solutions in a teamwork or individual environment.
– Lead and participate in training sessions within the plant

Qualifications
– BS Degree in related field with 2 years experience or
– Alternative degree with 3-5 years of Quality Engineering experience
– Basic understanding of CMMTS-16949 knowledge a plus
