Rising Star Services is currently hiring for a Acid Supervisor to join the team. Summary Operates and oversees the operation of acid and stimulation pumping equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures to perform a well servicing operation. Typically, this Supervisor may operate/supervise the following types of service equipment, without supervision: Fluid Pumps • Air Compressors (Bulk) • Acid Bulk Tanks (Trucks) • Hydraulic Power Pack • Frac Blender UnitsEssential Duties and Responsibilities Monitors, inspects and adjusts all major equipment during operations to ensure the equipment's adequate operation, such as adjusting pump and injection rates.

Writes correct job tickets, daily job logs, pre and post job reports, Job Safety Analyses (JSA's), daily safety or "Tailgate" meetings, and other documentation as required.

Assists in training all levels of Supervisors and Operators with equipment operations and procedures.

Delegates certain job tasks to Supervisors and Operators during equipment operations.

Capable of operating fluid pumps and associated equipment without supervision.

Assists with the mobilization of equipment. Duties include driving fluid pump units, bulk trucks, blending units or pickup trucks to/from job locations.

Assists with the pre job and post job inspections and testing of the fluid pumps, and other auxiliary equipment by completing pre and post job inspection forms.

Assists with the maintenance and general upkeep of the fluid pumps and related equipment.

Capable of performing advanced cementing and/or miscellaneous pumping.

Capable of performing stimulation jobs.

Capable of supervising a crew.

Demonstrates proficient knowledge of all equipment.

Provides hands on demonstrations of technique to other less experienced Supervisors, Operators and Drivers in the setup and function of equipment.

Assists Operations Supervisor, District Manager, and/or Division Manager with the following:

Coordinating and supervising daily operations.

Communicating with Maintenance Supervisor to determine equipment status.

Communicating with Customers and PS Sales to coordinate upcoming and ongoing jobs.

Communicating with crews on locations.

Managing "after hours" / weekend calls.

Maintains a safe work area or job site by following Superior Energy Services' Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) and Standard Operating (SOP's) procedures manuals.

Must carry a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), duties and responsibilities include driving, logging, performing inspections, etc. in accordance with appropriate Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Minimum Requirements and Knowledge Needed Class A, Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Valid driver's license.

Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience

Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance is helpful.

Proficient knowledge of fluid pumps and associated equipment, including proficiency in the proper start up of equipment, initiation of pumping, switching tanks, maintaining proper rate and pressure as per job requirements and/or procedures.

Proficient knowledge and ability to perform repairs in the field. These would include rebuilding of plug valves and repacking of triplex pumps.

High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
